Wolf Den

The Wolf Den ARE Cub Scouts in the Second Grade that are working toward their Bobcat Badge, Wolf Badge, Gold Arrow Point, and Silver Arrow Points. The cub scout is recognized for his achievements during pack meetings.
Meetings & Notes:

  • October - Popcorn Sales & Fall Campout
  • November - Scouting 4 Food, Blanket & Toys 4 Tots Drives.
  • December - Oso Lake work day & Newport Beach Harbor Parade of Lights
  • January - No Donut Sales on Sunday.
  • February - Super Bowl Stroll

Bobcat Badge This is the first badge the cub scout will earn. He must complete the eight tracks: Learn and say the Cub Scout Promise1, Tell what Webelos mean2, Tell what it means and Say the Law of the Pack3, the Cub Scout sign4, handshake5, motto6, salute7, With your Akela, parent or guardian, complete the exercises on How to Protect Your Children from Child Abuse8. Wolf Badge After earning the Bobcat Badge, the cub scout can start earning his twelve achievements for a Wolf Badge. Wolf Achievements

Arrow Points After the Wolf Cub Scout earns his Wolf Badge, he may begin to earn his Arrow points from the elective section of the book. He may begin work on his Arrow Point Trail only after he has earned the Wolf Badge. The Cub Scout earns a Gold Arrow Point after he has completed the First 10 arrow points in the Elective section of his book. Then, for every 10 arrow points completed he earns a Silver Arrow Point.
